Battlefield 2 takes the frantic large scale combat from Battlefield 1942 and updates it into the modern world. Taking a side with the USA, China or the Middle East Coalition, players fight in first person combat using modern fighting machines. With jeeps, tanks, boats, helicopters and jets at your disposal, players work together to capture control points and punch enemy tickets. Players get to choose their class from Assault, Medic, Special Ops, Support, Engineer and Anti Tank. The game also features a more strategic commander mode where one player is designated as the commander. The commander has access to the top down map, satellite scans, UAV's, Supply Drops and Artillery. Perhaps most importantly can use these tools to coordinate an effective battle plan against the opposition.
